Application Instructions:
Follow all measurement instructions in Soudal’s fire testing documentation when installing backing material(s). If using PEF Backing Rods, ensure they are 25-33% larger than the gap you are filling.
NB: the depth of the linear joint must be measured at the centre of the joint.
Apply Soudaseal® FR in a single continuous operation, pushing the sealant into the joint to ensure the joint is completely filled.
Tool off the Soudaseal® FR with sufficient pressure to force the sealant onto the backing material and the side walls of the joint. We recommend using a concave tool to achieve the correct joint shape.
