Durability Grades for Timber Adhesives: 

Classification of wood adhesives is governed by European Standards ranging from D1 to D4, which indicate moisture resistance and suitability for different environments. Soudal’s timber adhesives conform to D3 or D4 DIN EN 204 standards. 

• D4 is the highest grade, offering optimal water resistance for areas exposed to running or condensed water, making it suitable for exterior use or environments regularly exposed to moisture. 

• D3 is ideal for interior environments with occasional moisture, or exterior use where the joint is properly protected (e.g., full paint coating).
