FAQs
How long does Pro Gaps Quick Dry take to dry before painting?
Pro Gaps Quick Dry is specifically engineered for speed. You can apply gloss, semi-gloss, and low-sheen paints immediately after application. For flat or ceiling paints, we recommend waiting 10 minutes to ensure the best finish. Drying times may vary slightly depending on bead thickness and ambient humidity.
Can I use Pro Gaps Quick Dry in a shower or bathroom?
While Pro Gaps Quick Dry is waterproof once fully cured and excellent for skirting boards or cornices in bathrooms, it should not be used inside shower cubicles or areas subject to continuous water immersion.
What surfaces is Pro Gaps Quick Dry compatible with?
This professional-grade filler is highly versatile and bonds to most common building materials, including:
-
Timber & Wood: MDF, particleboard, and plywood.
-
Masonry: Brick, block work, concrete, and cement render.
-
Internal Linings: Plasterboard and fibre cement sheets.
-
Metals & Synthetics: Aluminium and polystyrene.
Is Pro Gaps Quick Dry suitable for exterior use?
Yes, Pro Gaps Quick Dry can be used for exterior applications provided it is painted over once cured. While it is colourfast and waterproof after curing, a coating of exterior-grade paint provides the necessary UV protection for long-term durability in outdoor environments.
